The NIVA KR1 Ex electronic explosion-proof float switch meets the latest requirements of the EU Directive 94/9/EG (ATEX 95), which must be observed in explosion hazards. According to the EU license SEV 06 ATEX 0137, the KR1 level regulator with intrinsically safe circuit allows use in explosion-proof Class 1 and Class 2 zones and gas groups II.A, II.B and II.C through combustion objects at temperatures in the range T1 to T6.

The NIVA electronic explosion-proof float switch KR1 Ex is a two-point regulator that requires only one regulator to turn on or off. The regulator is configured with a disconnector. In this way, the float switch can be used to empty or fill the container according to the electrical connection.
